Carly Prive is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field. Carly has been dedicated to empowering individuals to foster positive change in their lives. Her compassionate, client-centered approach emphasizes warmth and unwavering support, allowing clients to feel safe as they explore their
unique experiences, thoughts, and emotions.
Carly works with children (ages five and up), adolescents, and young adults. She addresses a variety of concerns, such as anxiety-related disorders, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), feeding and eating disorders, body image and self-esteem concerns, and attachment/relationship issues.
Grounded in attachment theory, Carly employs a strength-based approach, recognizing and highlighting her clients' resilience. She integrates evidence-based practices, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to equip clients with practical tools and strategies for their journey.
Outside of her work, Carly enjoys baking delicious treats, getting lost in a good book, hiking in the mountains with her husband, and snuggling her two cats.
