Asha Isse
Registered Provisional Psychologist
Asha is accepting clients Thursday evenings and Saturdays.

Asha Isse is a Provisional Psychologist who provides a warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She works with children (ages 8–12), adolescents, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, life transitions, and the impacts of trauma.
Asha holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and brings experience in mental health and psychosocial support across community, clinical, and humanitarian settings. Her work in high-stress and crisis-impacted environments has shaped a grounded therapeutic style that emphasizes safety, trust, and the recognition of client strengths.

Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Therapy is tailored to each client’s developmental stage, needs, and goals, with a focus on building insight, resilience, and sustainable coping strategies.

Asha is committed to ethical, client-centered practice and works within her scope of competence. When concerns fall outside her area of practice, she supports clients in accessing appropriate referrals.
